Here's the proper way to deshed a dog:
1. Take one dog (in this case, Jasmine, our husky-border collie)
2. Add one "Furminator" - yes, that is the REAL name of this gadget!

And voila! The yield from a 10-15 minute "brushing".
p.s. yes, we still have the dog. Some might think I brushed her away after all that fur!

That is too funny! It almost does look like another whole dog there. I swept up SO MUCH dog hair today. Gracie, our German shorthair pointer, isn't bad, but Penny, the Golden Retriever, OMG.
But, Gracie has this thing about chewing up paper products. Along with the dog hair I swept up a lot of paper. But when Dan got home tonight there was enough new chewed up stuff to sweep again.
And this is in between all the time the dogs spent outside because it was so nice here today. I heard geese honking! Spring will come!

Oh dear, poor doggie. But it looks like she held still anyway...
I like the glasses on the counter...taken off to wipe the sweat from the brow, no doubt!
